Description
The Cardiovascular Institute, in its eagerness to satisfy the needs of its users, has identified special cases where the transfer of the patient to our facilities is traumatic both for him and for his family or companions. This is why we want to reach the comfort of your home, facilitating the possibility of accessing less complex cardiology services such as:
- Electrocardiogram
- Holter arrhythmia monitoring.
- Blood Pressure Monitoring.
This service is initially aimed at people with demonstrable mobility difficulties, where the risk of taking the exam outside of our facilities is outweighed by the benefit.
Benefits
- Avoid displacement.
- Avoid trauma derived from the transfer.
- Reduce risk of transfer.
- Minimize travel costs. (Ambulance, Special Vehicles)
- Minimize times.
- Avoid risk of infections.

- To take the exam or install the equipment, the companion must be the one who, under the instructions of the assistant, uncovers the patient’s chest and extremities and receives instructions to ensure the proper use of the equipment during the time of the exam.
- If for any reason the instructions are not followed, it is the customer’s responsibility to bear the cost of rescheduling the exam.
- It is the duty of the companion to review the condition of the equipment at the time of installation, since it must be returned in the same conditions. The misuse of the equipment by the patient or their companions that causes demonstrable damage must be assumed by them.
